Just How IS Sales Value Decided?

Who is the subjective measurer of value in sales? Since all
sides must agree that the exchange represents value for the
sale to be made, it's very important that you understand the
value concept.
First, the customer must believe that your value is worth
your price. This may take years to actually become true.
Long hours and elbow grease help create a valuable sales
presence.
Next, the salesperson must appreciate the value in how much
the customer buys, compared to the cost of the sale, time
and labor. After all, your company should see value that
exceeds the total cost of the products.
You must create an awareness of true value for salespeople
AND customers. In short, learn the value of understanding
your own value!
1. Do you have a cheap look?
2. Are you really worth your prices?
3. Do you have repeat customers?
4. Are you constantly asked for refunds?
5. Do people refer your company?
6. Are you just "winging" it -- hoping for the best?
This is just a short list of questions that can help you
determine what your value represents, to those you come
in contact with. Value is important so be sure you fully
understand the value concept. Value works both ways
==> to the customer AND your company!
